Join us in preparing and serving a hot dinner to approximately 20 women and their children staying at the Women’s Center Shelter on Monday, January 14.
Founded in 1980, the Milwaukee Women’s Center provides comprehensive services and treatment for women, men, and children whose lives have been affected by domestic violence, addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and poverty.
PURPOSE: Kids and their caregivers will help prep meal service at the shelter, then serve food and help brighten the evening of families staying at the shelter. Impact: Kids will see that serving others can be fun and that they are capable of making a difference.
